Poetry, performance, dance and music make up Nabiyah Be: singer, songwriter, producer and actress. The Brazilian-Jamaican artist is influenced by the richness of Brazilian and American culture, and directs her work towards a musical fusion that reflects her international experience.

Described by the The New York Times as the owner of a “spellbinding” voice, she is the first black Brazilian woman to win a Drama Desk Award. She also starred in the Tony and Grammy winning musical Hadestown, as well giving life to the disco pioneer Simone Jackson in the Emmy winning limited series “ Daisy Jones & The Six”. In the Oscar wining film “ Black Panther”, Nabiyah played the villain Linda. 

In 2024, Nabiyah releases ‘EVERYBODY’ and ‘POÇO AZUL’, her first singles, produced by the artist alongside collaborators Marcelo de Lamare and C-AFROBRASIL. The singles open the door for her debut album and introduces the musical diversity that represents her.
